O Intercâmbio Internacional sobre Governação e Luta Contra a Corrupção surge no âmbito do projecto “Sociedade Civil pela Transparência e Integridade”, financiado pela União Europeia e pela Cooperação Portuguesa.
Esta iniciativa decorre nos dias 12 e 13 de Abril de 2022 no Centro Cultural Português de São Tomé e Príncipe e pretende promover o conhecimento e o intercâmbio de boas práticas de processos e instrumentos na luta contra a corrupção e a impunidade.
Procura promover igualmente sinergias entre actores de diferentes naturezas, públicos e privados, e sensibilizar a opinião pública e os responsáveis políticos santomenses sobre a questão da transparência, da corrupção e do acesso à informação no país.
Ao longo dos dois dias, o intercâmbio, aberto ao público, irá promover o debate entre OSC, jornalistas, investigadores e outros actores de diferentes geografias, partilhando experiências e procurando estabelecer pontes de diálogo e de colaboração futura.

The International Good Governance and Fight Against Corruption Conference is held in the context of the project “Sociedade Civil pela Transparência e Integridade”, financed by the European Union and the Portuguese Cooperation.
This initiative takes place on April 12th and 13th 2022 at the Portuguese Cultural Centre and it aims to increase both knowledge and the exchange of good practices in the fight against corruption and impunity. The conference wants to create synergies between actors of different areas- public and private. It is also intending to raise awareness amongst both the general public, as well as policy makers in São Tome and Príncipe on the issues of transparency, corruption and access to information by the citizens.
Over the two days, the conference, open to the public, will promote the debate between CSOs, journalists, researchers and other actors from different geographies, enabling them to share experiences and establish bridges for dialogue and future collaboration.
